Blue Lemon Mug #2
Lemons bring so much flavour to foods and are great with honey when ill.
Hand thrown and turned (fancy name for trimming) on the wheel in a white speckled clay body that has been stained with a blue stain.
After handling these mugs the lemon design is hand painted by Simone needing a number of coats of underglaze for an opaque image.
The interior and exterior are then clear glazed and fired.
This mug holds 300ml of liquid and is 10.4cm high and 7.1cm wide at the lip.
